Best Friends advance in AEW Tag Team title tournament

The quarterfinals are set for the AEW Tag Team title tournament following Wednesday's Rampage. 

Orange Cassidy & Trent Beretta of Best Friends defeated Powerhouse Hobbs & Kyle Fletcher of The Don Callis Family on Rampage in a wild card matchup to advance to the tournament quarterfinals. 

Best Friends now move on to face The Undisputed Kingdom's Matt Taven & Mike Bennett in the quarterfinals round.

The 10-team tournament field to fill the vacant AEW Tag Team titles is down to eight teams following Rampage. 

The dates for the first two quarterfinals bouts have been revealed, with the first set for next Wednesday's Dynamite, and the second set to take place on the Saturday, March 30 Collision. 

The tournament finals will take place on Sunday, April 21 at AEW Dynasty.

Here are the quarterfinals matches: 

• AEW Dynamite, Wednesday, March 27: The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) vs. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen)
• AEW Collision, Saturday, March 30: FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) vs. The Infantry (Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo)
• Date TBA: Undisputed Kingdom (Mike Bennett & Matt Taven) vs. Best Friends (Orange Cassidy & Trent Beretta)
• Date TBA: Ricky Starks & Big Bill vs. Top Flight (Darius Martin & Dante Martin)
