While Tyler Breeze is no longer an active competitor for the company, he hasn't exited the WWE fold completely. Prince Pretty has continued his association with the UpUpDownDown YouTube channel. Breeze remains one of the faces of the brand, hosting many popular video series on the channel.

The former SmackDown star recently joined Agents of Wrestling podcast to talk about the gaming side of the wrestling business. When the discussion steered towards their popular Battle of The Brands video series, Breeze told the story of how it was born:

"We just kind of had fun and did it on our own. We lived together so we needed stuff to do and that was it. So once he [Xavier Woods] kind of had the idea for UpUpDownDown, I think he said 'Do you want to do this on here?" And I said 'Yeah, why not?'

So we started doing it and it obviously became the biggest thing. The staple of the channel. Which is crazy to me because it was literally just the two of us having fun, hanging out and it just became a fun thing to be a part of, a fun thing to watch and obviously we've seen it kind of be revived in the WWE 2k series. Even to where we're the introductory guys going 'Come on guys play my GM'"

Return of GM Mode

Tyler Breeze was then asked if they take credit for the revival of the GM Mode in WWE 2K22. The Canadian star explained that it wouldn't have happened if they hadn't given a platform to people:

"100% us. If we didn't play it, then obviously the people wouldn't say it. I think that really kind of opened their eyes to what was happening because again, having UpUpDownDown, opened up a lot of people's eyes or at least people paid attention to what people were saying. Because you can shout into the abyss all you want for stuff to happen, but if nobody hears it, nobody sees it. It ain't happening. So I think yeah, we definitely played a part in it coming back."

Tyler Breeze Liked Fight Forever

The former NXT star also revealed his thoughts on AEW Fight Forever. Tyler Breeze said that he has only tried it a couple of times and has liked the feel of it:

"So I actually tried it. I tried once or twice. I like it. I like the feel of it. I think it's a very good base point. Like I think there's a lot they can add on to but I think now that they have something then it's you know, obviously easier to see or to hear what people want. I know people were mentioning a lot about like creation, they want a little more customization. They love making people or downloading people or all that stuff.

So I think the overall idea is good, I think the gameplay is very different than WWE 2K, which is exactly what they were going for. They wanted more of that No Mercy feel, that old kind of arcade-style. I've only tried it a couple times. But we're gonna be doing a couple tournaments here and there coming up with it. So I think we're gonna jump into it a little bit more."
