UpUpDownDown helped create many opportunities for talent in WWE, according to channel regular Tyler Breeze.

UpUpDownDown first launched in 2015 and is the creation of The New Day's Xavier Woods. The YouTube channel sees Woods and other members of WWE's roster play video games and discuss their gaming experience, though conversations often shift to focusing on wrestling or other aspects of life. In November 2021, the show faced a production stoppage as those working protested WWE's apparent taking advantage of Woods. The channel would go on a hiatus until Woods welcomed fans back in May 2022.

Tyler Breeze on UpUpDownDown

Despite being released by WWE, Tyler Breeze has been able to continue appearing for UpUpDownDown, where he is arguably the second-most integral name, only behind Woods. Speaking to Agents of Wrestling, Breeze spoke about the channel and how it has helped talent who may not receive other opportunities.

It kind of just started just over common interests in video games. He [Woods] played a bunch of games. I played a bunch of games. We started talking, we started gaming and it kind of grew into what it was going to grow into.

"His big thing was, he wanted to create opportunities for people. Let's say I'm in WWE and I get to wrestle here and there but maybe I don't talk a lot or I don't do a lot of backstage stuff or promo stuff so people don't really know who I am or if I can even talk. He wanted to be kind of an outlet to where people could build an underground kind of genuine following."

Breeze added that Woods' innate creativity has also proved crucial to the success of the channel.

"He's always been very creative. Even when we were just playing games and hanging out and wrestling and everything else, he got into Photoshop and video editing and all that type of stuff, to where he [was] just always kind of looking for the next thing.

"He was the on air talent, the recorder, the editor, the publisher, he was everything."
