Update On Elimination Chamber Plans For Bronson Reed
Source: WWE

It will be one of those things we wish we had seen…here’s an update on what Elimination Chamber plans for Bronson Reed looked like at one point.

With the event now a memory, we know that Big Bronson Reed was not present to perform in front of his home country fans.

We also know, thanks to an update from Reed himself, that he was not there for a really good reason.

His wife gave birth to their child, a bit earlier than planned.

The baby birth kept him from Perth…but not from his original plans.

Based on his personal happenings, he missed the show. And before the happenings, he might have just appeared and made fans happy.

But…if something had not happened to a certain world champion a month or so back? Perth could have gone much differently.

Update On Elimination Chamber Plans For Bronson Reed

According to Fightful, WWE originally planned to have Aussies in not one, but two championship matches.

While Rhea Ripley successfully defended her title against Nia Jax, her’s was the only singles belt defended.

Until Seth Rollins sustained a knee injury, the plan was for Reed to challenge Rollins.

However, due to that knee injury, Rollins remains not cleared for contact. He was free to travel and take part in the Grayson Waller Effect though.

In fact, the champion even delivered a curb stomp to Austin Theory. It would seem he is trending in the right direction for WrestleMania.

So, he may be on the mend, and he may be feeling better…but he is not cleared for a match.

He isn’t even cleared to be cashed in on.

So, at one point in time…not that long ago…we could have had Big Bronson Reed in his most major match of his life.

A knee injury and an early-arriving baby changed those plans. It wasn’t a championship win, but a healthy new baby is a very nice alternative as well.
