The ROH Women's World Championship will be on the line in a two-out-of-three falls tables match on the February 22 Ring of Honor TV episode.
Women's Champion Athena challenged Nyla Rose to a tables match for next week which the challenger accepted. The two had a backstage brawl on this week's show where Athena hit Rose with a broken table, but Rose recovered and left the champion laying in advance of next week's title bout.
Athena has held the ROH Women's title since defeating Mercedes Martinez for the belt at Final Battle 2022, a reign of over 433 days. The champ's most recent title defense came against Billie Starkz in the main event of Final Battle 2023.
The tables match was taped Wednesday night, February 14 in Cedar Park, Texas following the AEW Dynamite and AEW Rampage taping at the H-E-B Center. Spoilers from the taping are available here.
Four first round matches in the Women's TV title tournament are also set for next week's episode.
