Injuries are not a matter of if but when for wrestlers, no matter the style or promotion they work for.

That’s the case for Piper Niven, who first signed with WWE in 2017 after taking part in the Mae Young Classic two years before. She went to NXT UK before moving to the main roster in 2021, where she was aligned with Eva Marie and changed her name to Doudrop.

She later went back to the Niven name last year under the creative leadership of Triple H. Niven is a former one-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion as she was paired with Chelsea Green in the middle of her title reign once Sonya Deville went down due to an injury. They lost the titles to Kayden Carter and Katana Chance on Raw.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Niven sustained a hand injury in the last month and hasn't been around of late. The initial fear was it was a broken hand.

Her last match was at a Main Event taping earlier this month. We wish Niven a speedy recovery.
